Best practices — getting pressure washing done right
Know what good looks like before you book:
Use soft washing (low pressure + cleaner) on siding, brick and wood — high pressure can damage them
Pressure-wash before sealing a driveway or staining a deck, never after
Clear cars, planters and furniture from the area beforehand
Book in spring to clear winter grime, and before listing a home
Why it's worth it
Instantly lifts curb appeal and makes surfaces look new again
Removes slippery algae and moss that make walkways dangerous
Sign in and Genie matches you with the nearest top-rated, verified pro and shows your price before you book. On the day your pro checks in, completes the work to the agreed scope, and shares completion photos where it makes sense — then you review and approve.
How to prepare
Clear access to the work area so your pro can start right away
Tell the pro your priorities when you book
Secure pets and put away anything fragile or valuable (for in-home jobs)
Share photos and details up front for the most accurate price
Every home & deep cleaning pro on Genie is background-checked and reviewed — and you'll see your price the moment you sign in.
